CybWin project holds first webinar on CERT and SOC for Air Navigation Services

Cybersecurity Platform for Assessment and Training for Critical Infrastructures – Legacy to Digital Twin, the CybWin project is a research project on cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure.

In November 2020, the project arranged the first in a series of webinars intended for audiences within specific critical infrastructure sectors. This first webinar was dedicated to the aviation domain with presentations on current cybersecurity practices and challenges in aviation; experiences from establishing and operating SOC and CERT; lessons learned from other domains on humans in incident response and relevant perspectives for aviation industry. The agenda can be found here: https://ife.no/en/event/cybersecurity-webinar-cert-and-soc-for-air-navigation-services/

The main objective of the Cybwin project is to develop a testing and training cyber security platform with physical, replicated and simulated components of real-world Critical Infrastructures empowered with tools for RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability, safety) assessment, vulnerability assessment, attack simulation, incident prediction and response. This project is funded by the Research Council of Norway and the consortium consists of IFE, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Secure-NOK AS, Avinor Flysikring AS, Statnett, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd, EUROCONTROL, and Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
